That is so positive and so true. It’s true if you believe it’s true. I’m sure you’ve had something insurmountable in your life that you’ve overcome with this philosophy. We all have. Some of us might have to dig back in our childhood to find it, but I know you’ve done it.
You’ve got to have faith in yourself to make it happen. So much faith, that no matter what anyone says, you are still going for it. It might even be your spouse that is the naysayer-- you must still move forward. That belief in yourself is the key. You believe in what you’re about so much that nothing...nothing will sway you. In fact, when you get people or circumstances that say you can’t do it, it drives you and drives you to get it done even more. That faith in yourself has to be in your core being. No matter what, you’ll succeed. You’ve got this attitude that...throw anything in my way and I will conquer it. “It really doesn’t matter what obstacles are thrown in my way, I will overcome them.”
Just writing about this gets me all worked up. Can you tell? Having this mindset is essential to getting what you want out of life. You’ve got to laugh at the things that life will put in your way. I believe this: that our creator wouldn’t put anything in your way that he thought you couldn’t handle. Take a look at it as one big test-the life test. And the bonus is that you are learning life lessons. Lessons that can help you and help others throughout your life.
So you get to climb these mountains in life and conquer them and you get to keep the lessons you learn along the way. You’ve got it made. Go out and go after whatever your heart tells you to do. Do not be concerned with what you must overcome. You wouldn’t have thought of it unless you could accomplish it. I believe that with all my heart and soul. You should too!
"Did You Know Where This Saying Came From..."
Keep Your Shirt On
Meaning: To keep calm. If someone is in a heated situation where another person is getting riled up, they might use this expression to try and calm the person down.
Example: I borrowed a friend’s car and accidentally got the bumper scratched while I was out driving it. I informed him about what had happened and he became agitated with me, so I told him to keep his shirt on because I would pay for the damage. In other words, the upset friend is basically being told to relax, to not get upset.
Origin: This phrase’s origin is not very clear. It may originate from how when people get extremely angry to the point where they are looking for a fight, they will sometimes remove their shirt. Why do they do this? Well, probably because a shirt, especially a tighter fitting one, can restrict one’s motions to some degree; by removing one’s shirt, it allows for a further range of motion of the upper body that would otherwise be a bit more limited.
Thus, perhaps those who were not interested in fighting or seeing a fight take place would advise the angry person to keep their shirt on, literally. Anyways, the earliest I could find of this phrase with its figurative meaning is from the 1890s. For example, in the Geelong Advertiser newspaper, printed in June 1894: “Now young man, you keep your shirt on, and don’t be too smart.”
Keep On Trucking
Meaning: To keep going, pressing forward; never stopping.
Origin: This phrase was used in a song from the 1930s called “Truckin’ My Blues Away” by Blind Boy Fuller. This song, according to Wikipedia, is the origin of this phrase. As for finding this expression in writing, the earliest we could find it is from a newspaper from the latter half of the 20th century.
For example, it is written in the Roland Record newspaper, 1971, and there’s a part in it that reads: “The seniors recently voted what their class motto would be: ‘Keep on truckin’ and ‘We’ve only just begun.’ Beautiful.”

Halloween
Halloween is annually celebrated on October 31st. Popular activities commonly include trick-or-treating, costume parties, carving jack-o’-lanterns, apple bobbing, and haunted attractions. Halloween can be traced back to the Celtic culture in Ireland.
According to the Druid religion, November 1st was New Year’s on their calendar. The celebration started on October 31st, where the Celtics believed the souls of the dead roamed the streets at night. Since not all spirits were thought to be friendly, gifts and treats were left out to pacify the evil spirits. Celtic traditions included costumes and treats.
